Ok, maybe this is politics...but it's also a great example of
really bad data analysis. Maybe there is a Laffer curve, but you sure have to look
hard to see it here. I wonder how many economists would choose the line in the top graph over the one in the bottom graph, if all they saw were the points, without any labels?
